 Special Events

We don't just have things happening regularly, but we love to be involved in special events in and around Monmouth. Check out details below and for any more information, please contact Ian.

  • Every Christmas Day we host a Christmas Dinner cooked by our church members. Anyone is welcome, but particularly those who might be alone or might struggle to cook dinner otherwise. We love celebrating together, crackers, hats and all!

  • Performed by members of different churches across Monmouth, we give local schoolchildren a dynamic and dramatic view of the events of the first Easter. This is held every year in partnership with other churches of Monmouth and is a highlight for the schoolchildren and the churches involved.

  • For many years the church has had a refreshments tent at the local agricultural show. We love hosting a space where people can come, have a drink and a chat with Christians from the local churches.

  • We are committed to serving the streets and people of Wyesham and Monmouth, and so you will see us out regularly on the streets doing pastoral work such as chatting with people, praying with people, and being present in the lives of everyday people.

  • We have links with Ukraine through some of our members, which has resulted in support drives for them, as well as English lessons to some refugees within our community.

  • Working with other churches to share the good news of Jesus around the community in Wyesham and Monmouth. We visit homes, hold open air services and events, spend time in the local schools, host afternoon teas, fun days, football tournaments and carol singing around the community. Why not join us?
